Help bring Seichō Summer into the world
Our next book, Seichō Summer by Bethany Faulk, is almost ready to take flight into the world, and we want to give it the best chance possible, which is where YOU come in!
Here’s a little taste of what Seichō Summer is about:
Visiting her grandparents and spending two months at a lakeside camp with an international community might suit her brother and her friend Melanie just fine, but all Sarah Jones can think about are the friends she’s leaving behind—and the lost revenue from the job she’s supposed to be working. She’s resigned herself to a solitary summer of reading and writing, but an unexpected encounter with a boy who loves books, being persuaded to join the cast of Brigadoon, and meeting families from all over the world begin to stretch Sarah in new ways. Maybe the lake is not such a bad place to be after all.
Sarah discovers that growing up means learning about herself, friendships, and the world around her—all during her seichō summer.
Now that you’re intrigued, let’s get some details!
What is a Launch Team? It is an opportunity for the people who love our books (or just great books in general) to share our next great story with other people who may not know about us, or our books. Like any good summer plans, this launch team will run on enthusiasm, encouragement, flexibility, and possibly snacks.
How does it work? Fill out this application and we will choose 30 people to send a digital ARC (Advanced Reader Copy). If chosen, you will read the book and then help us spread the word about how amazing it is!
Some of the things we will ask you to do:
Share provided images on your social media platforms during launch week
Submit reviews on any relevant bookish platforms (Amazon, Goodreads, Storygraph, etc)
Share your own experience/review on blogs, newsletters, podcasts, social media platforms, etc
Tell people in your life about this experience with this story, via word of mouth, and point them to Bandersnatch Books for this and more great titles
What do you get for your help?
A digital Advanced Reader Copy of Seichō Summer before the official release of the book
A literary field trip to Japan (no passport needed).
A special gift, sent in the mail, with bookish goodies to help you get the vibe of this amazing story

What’s Next?
Apply to join the launch team!
You don’t need a huge following to make a big difference—you just need to be willing to spread the word to your family and friends and share your thoughts in reviews, etc.
Do you have younger teens in your house? Sarah Jones is 14, and younger teens are the perfect readers for this book! Have them help you read and review Seichō Summer!
The Launch Team application will be open until May 24, and we’ll get your ARC and further instructions in your hands soon after that date.
Seichō Summer should be out in the world by the end of June!
