I heartily agree. From a popular film perspective, I've found many of the earlier Marvel movies more engaging than those from the early DC Universe because the dialogue had more banter which balanced the heavier themes and action scenes. It's difficult to be in perpetual suspense. Humor allows an audience to breathe.
