I am excessively fond of common place books. In high school I kept a notebook of quotes that I liked. I would even scour quote websites for new ones. I later came across the idea of common place books and I was hooked. I keep multiple books now- one for a book club, for podcast series, for homeschooling, for Shakespeare, and for poetry. My system mirrors how my brain works and when I add it colorful pens and labeling tabs, and book darts, I am truly happy.
I’m definitely a notes taker, and have also failed journaling multiple times! I’m growing my commonplace skills, little by little.
This is such a good idea! Thanks for sharing. :)
