I enjoyed hearing you two discuss Mari in the Margins and the writing process. This encourages me to keep going. I’m also a grandmother who has a story I believe in. It’s in revision AGAIN. Madeline L’Engle quotes are golden. Excuse me, now I need to get a copy of Mari in the Margins in the mail for an 11 year old friend.
I am a first time listener and so glad I did! I am encouraged that you stuck with your idea and that it came to fruition. I am three months into waiting for an answer about a manuscript I feel passionately about and I have been diving into other writing projects while I wait.
I have been tempted to quit but fortunately that temptation doesn’t last. The clock is ticking and every time I thought I was finished I was not. I just listened to the podcast with Jonathan Rogers too. Interesting, he referenced the epistolary form, and my story is epistolary historical fiction. Thanks for the encouragement.

Thank you, Tricia! Yes, do keep going. I have fifteen (or is it sixteen?) drafts of Mari in the Margins!

Thanks! The waiting is hard but having other projects definitely helps!
Thanks for listening, Jennifer!

Oooh, I am a big fan of epistolary books. We need more of them!
