This is so good, Sam. I’ll need to come back around this a few times to let it sink in. The point that our call is who we are and not what we do really resonates.

This is so good. A few years ago I felt that maybe there’s a “40 years” in the wilderness for me too. A time of seasoning. Experiencing. Gaining wisdom Before the next thing. But maybe, just maybe, my calling is who I’m becoming and not about what I do at all. Maybe.

It is so important to remember that God’s individual plan for us doesn’t fit on a CV. It is hard to know that maybe God is calling me to write, but not to have a large audience. Maybe our tasks don’t need a large audience, just a receptive one.
